With the recent Android Operating System release & updates on permission access. We are glad to share insights to the permission access required by SNAC™ Smartphone Application.
Optional: Camera Permission (Staff Check-in)
SNAC™ requires access to device camera to SCAN barcode for Staff check-in. Without this permission; module will not function. |
Optional: Location Permission (Staff Check-in)
SNAC™ requires access device location to use function GEO-Location Staff Check-In. Without this permission; module will not function. |
Contacts Permission (Request on Login screen)
SNAC™ requires “Contact Access” to Google account to Push Notification. This contact access is NOT your phonebook contacts. It is your registered Google email account that is required for Push Notification Web Services by Google. Without this permission; you will not receive any Push Notification Alert tone when your school(s) sends you notification to your smartphone. |
Phone Storage Permission (Request on Login screen)
SNAC™ requires “Storage Permission” to manage files be downloaded on your device during using our app. Without this permission; SNAC™ will not be able to function. Similarly, when you installed an application to your PC; the Terms & Conditions Agreement states the permission to use your computer Hard Disk space to store the application files. |
